IPAF Training – The Aerial Work Platform Operator Certification with a Globally Recognized PAL Card
Anyone who operates an aerial work platform bears responsibility—for themselves, for their coworkers, and for safety at the job site. The aerial work platform operator’s license is officially called the PAL Card and is obtained through IPAF training. Anyone who operates an aerial work platform must be trained and authorized by their employer. The IPAF training program provides the knowledge and practical skills that aerial work platform operators and supervisors need, and it leads to a globally recognized certification: the PAL Card. The Cramer Training Center in Hagen has been an IPAF-certified training provider since 2005. The center trains both operators and supervisors, and refresher courses are also available. Training is conducted on equipment from the current rental fleet, not on demonstration models.

In what language are classes taught?
The course is conducted in German by default, so a good command of spoken and written German is required. For groups of 8 participants, we also offer the training in Polish. Alternatively, for this group size, you can hire an interpreter to provide simultaneous interpretation into the language of your choice. It is important that the interpreter be familiar with translating specialized and technical terms used in the forklift industry. The interpreter may not be a participant in the course at the same time.
