Mechatronics Technician / Service Technician (m/f/d) in Hamburg

As a mechatronics technician/service technician at Cramer Arbeitsbühnen, you will maintain and repair our equipment and ensure that it is safe and ready for use. You will perform fault diagnostics and resolve technical issues on-site or in the workshop.

To strengthen our workshop team at our Hamburg branch, we are looking for you as:

Mechatronics Technician / Service Technician (m/f/d)

We are a family-run business that has been in operation for over 60 years, company that has been in business for over 60 years, and we rent out over 1,700 work platforms,telescopic handlers, forklifts, and bridge inspection equipment. 
We are continuously expanding and employ more than 150 employees. Our diverse client base includes public sector clients, companies in industry, construction, and the skilled trades, as well as our position as a provider of specialized solutions, make our business crisis-proof.           

 
 
Job Responsibilities: 

  • Maintenance, repair, and servicing of aerial work platforms, telescopic handlers, and forklifts as well as commercial vehicles 

  • Troubleshooting and Resolving Technical Problems 

  • Conducting Safety and Functional Tests 

  • Preparing the machines for rental use 

  • Support in ensuring compliance with our quality and safety standards 

  • After completing training, you will also be assigned to service calls at construction sites 

What qualifications should you have? 

  • Completed technical training, e.g., as an agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics technician, passenger/commercial vehicle mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, or a comparable qualification 

  • Technical understanding and manual dexterity 

  • Ideally, experience with aerial work platforms, industrial trucks, or construction equipment 

  • Ability to work independently and reliably 

  • Teamwork and Commitment 

  • Class B driver's license (BE/CE/C1 preferred)
