Crane Rental – Compact, Maneuverable, for Tight Spaces
Cranes lift and transport heavy loads in places where forklifts and aerial work platforms reach their limits. Our rental program covers both: large-scale operations on rough terrain as well as compact mini-cranes for tight spaces, such as in warehouses, courtyards, stairwells, or on rooftops. Depending on the model, they are powered by battery, gasoline engine, or hand crank. We also rent out the appropriate attachments and load-handling accessories. Just tell us the load, reach, and ground conditions—and we’ll find the right machine for you.
Where should the crane be placed?
Space, surface, and drive system are all interrelated. Please tell us the load, range, and intended location.
Indoor Facility Construction
It is positioned directly next to the hall and operates over the edge of the roof—without requiring a crane landing area.
Solar Technology
Installs modules and equipment on rooftops—even in places where an elevator can't reach.
Housing Construction
It fits through narrow driveways and still extends over the ridge and the roof surface.
Building Construction
Work on the building site—amid scaffolding, materials, and ongoing operations.
How heavy can the load be?
That depends on the model—and especially on the reach, because the maximum load capacity decreases as the boom extends further. In the equipment overview, you can filter by lifting capacity, reach, lift height, and outrigger width. Just tell us the weight and reach, and we’ll find the right machine for you.
Which drive system is right for my application?
Battery-powered for indoor use, gas-powered for off-road use, and hand-crank for small loads where there's no power source.
Are any attachments included?
Yes. We rent out attachments and load-handling equipment compatible with our cranes. Which combination is permissible and appropriate for your application depends on the load, reach, and ground conditions—we’ll work with you to put together the right equipment and accessories. Slinging and load-handling equipment is subject to mandatory periodic inspections; for rental equipment, we’ll take care of that for you.
Do I need a crane operator's license?
Training is required to operate this equipment. Cramer provides the training itself— see “Crane Training.”
